Guoxin Wang, Senior Director, Global Mining Chemical Technologies, is presenting two topics on June 6; one presentation will dive into the new reagent systems for Florida phosphate ores, and the other presentation will tackle controlling foam to boost wet process phosphoric acid (WPA) production efficiency.
New Reagent Systems for Florida Phosphate Ores
Mineral producers are looking for safer and simpler ways to streamline the phosphate flotation process and improve performance. It is possible to achieve phosphate grade and recovery targets more simply and sustainably with safer and easier pH modification while removing potentially hazardous hydrocarbons. The key is to use a custom-developed reagent system and flotation reagents specifically designed for your unique phosphate ore. In this presentation, we’ll share our results from three different mineral processing operations.
Controlling Foam to Boost Wet Process Phosphoric Acid (WPA) Production
Are you dealing with an overabundance of foam during the WPA production? A major challenge that phosphoric acid producers face is understanding foaming and defoaming during WPA production to identify high-performance, cost-efficient defoamers. The addition of the right defoamer can improve plant performance and facilitate higher capacity utilization and optimal output of finished product. Learn more about WPA foam control and how to overcome foam challenges during WPA production in this presentation.
